Hi Sebastian!

November 6th, 2012

Hi Sebastian!
Hi Sebastian!

Our Southern California Bumbleride family is happy to welcome Sebastian into the world. Born to a beautiful momma, Cristina and dad, John. Cristina is missed in our office but we are happy to see her blossom as a mother. Here are her expressions about her new adventure!

“Being a mother pales in comparison to what I thought it would be like. It is truly the best feeling in the world to know that I am Sebastian’s mom. It’s strange because I feel like nothing existed before him. I have found that balance is key to being the best mom I can be. I give myself some time for a quick run, workout or shopping alone, at least 30 min to an hour daily. Also, John & I go on a date night at least once every couple of weeks. But the rest of the time is Sebastian Time & we know this is very important as the baby/child stage passes so quickly. I heard a saying once, “The days are long but the years are short”. We cherish every minute with him & of course, this includes taking pictures of him as much as possible.

John & I made a promise to each other that we would expose Sebastian to as many fun, cultural, educational & creative things as possible in his childhood. This of course includes travel & we are so happy with our Bumblerides as they ensure Sebastian is safe & sound while we’re exploring. We normally use the Indie with Carrycot (Ocean) or Flite (Aqua). It has been great for Sebastian to nap & provides a nice place for us to change his diapers cleanly & privately.”

Ruby's Room

Oh Joy! is one of our favorite blogs to follow. Joy’s sense of style and passion for design, fashion and food is so fun! We fell in love with little Ruby’s nursery after seeing it all come together. We’re not sure what we love more- the soft, simple color pallet or the interesting mix of textures and handmade goodies.

How comfy does that couch look?! Our most favorite element is the colorful and geometric Oeuf Artecnica mobile (another one of our favorite companies) which can be purchased here.

One, Two, Three

Raising multiple children is a growing and ever changing experience. “One, Two, Three” is an article in The Huffington Post written by blogger Glennon Melton, where she gives her readers a glimpse into her love and insecurities as her family grows. We love her honest and charming take on how she grew as each child came into her life.

Purchasing a stroller can be an overwhelming process. There are so many options and it can be tough deciding on which one is perfect for your lifestyle. It seems like modern nursery furniture is exploding with choices as well and we’ve stumbled upon one of our favorites. Ubabub is a modern furniture and art company right out of Australia. Mixing clean mid-century inspired lines with futuristic clear materials, Ubabub manages to create a look that is simple yet innovative. We’re partial to the chunky, Nifty Timber crib.

We’re also digging their oversized, vivid wall art! Learn more about Ubabub at their website and become a fan on Facebook.

Peach Tree Pottery, a pottery shop open everyday in Los Angeles, opened in 1999 as a place for people to come learn how to throw pots and for artists to show their work. Classes are provided for adults and children and even 3 year-olds are encouraged to start with private lessons to get an experience on the wheel. At Bumbleride, we believe in unleashing your creativity, and can’t think of a more fun, relaxing, and friendly place to learn pottery than Peach Tree Pottery. Take a peek below at a video that gives you more details on Peach Tree.
