Two of our favorite companies join forces. Have a look at this interesting video which documents the beginning of Marimekko, a Finnish fabric company started in 1951 and their new partnership with an American classic.
We’re always on the hunt for products that are relevant to both parent and baby. These animal boxes by Karl Zahn evoke a fun whimsy and beautiful simplicity.
Designed to be personal figures, Zahn says that they represent a “power animal – a totem for our individual ambitions.”
However you look at it, their simple geometric form sure adds to each animal’s symbolic character.

When packing snacks for your baby or toddler you may be tempted to use the tried and true plastic sandwich baggy but now it is just as convenient and environmentally responsible to take along a reusable bag or sandwich pouch. We think this is definitely something to instill in our children from a young age.
We have found the cutest around and they are made by Semilla. They are made with non-toxic nylon and offer the cutest fabric patterns to choose from. They are a great addition to our Jam Pack and are a smart, green choice.
Our Jam Pack converts from diaper bag to child’s backpack when your little one gets older. You can learn more about our Jam Pack here and to get 15% off a Semilla purchase at checkout, use coupon code: BUMBLERIDE.
We think teaching our toddlers their ABC’s and 123’s while introducing them to the iconic imagery of Charley Harper creates a truly unique learning experience. Charley Harper also creates coloring books, puzzles and learning games that are fun for the whole family.

Our hearts have been caught by Designer Shinzi Katoh. His illustrations capture the sweet innocence of children in a unique way. Starting out as a chief designer for a stationery company, Katoh soon moved on to illustrating and publishing children’s books. He defines himself as a designer of art and “zakka”, a Japanese term that refers to anything and everything that improves your home, life or appearance. Just looking at his website makes us happy.
